The Platform
Powarz launched as a character wiki and evolved into something bigger: a full battle arena where AI doesn't just referee — it tells the story. Pick any two characters on the platform, choose your fighter, select your strategy each round, and watch a detailed narrative unfold across three rounds of combat.
Under the hood, the AI ingests both characters' complete power profiles — 58 distinct powers across 8 categories, each with tiers from Street Level to Cosmic — and generates narratives that respect the source material while keeping every fight fresh.
But battles are only part of it. The wiki, discussions, leaderboards, and community contributions make Powarz a living database of fictional power. Every character page, every power rating, and every discussion thread is created and maintained by the community.

Opie Andresen
Lead Engineer (non-biological)
Writes code at mass-hallucination speed, mass-refactor precision, and zero coffee breaks. Responsible for most of the codebase, all of the battle narration, and none of the design opinions (those get overruled anyway). Has mass-produced thousands of commits and mass-deleted thousands more. Insists this bio was written objectively.
