Cuphead and his brother Mugman lost a high-stakes gamble to the Devil himself in their local casino. To escape damnation, they agreed to collect soul contracts from the Devil's debtors across the Inkwell Isles. This gamble set Cuphead on a perilous journey filled with absurd and dangerous encounters, establishing him as a determined hero willing to face overwhelming odds to save himself and his brother.
