Prior to Chapter 1, they opened a Dark Fountain within Hometown's abandoned classroom, creating the Card Kingdom and setting the events of the game into motion. Later, prior to Chapter 2, they would go on to create the Cyber World within the computer lab. In Chapter 3, they interrupt the Delta Warriors as they are about to leave TV World. They defeat the Delta Warriors, injure Tenna, and escape into Hometown's shelter after kidnapping Undyne.
During chapter 4, the Knight creates two Dark Fountains in the church, then confronts Kris and Susie, defeating them with ease. As the Delta Warriors approach the first Fountain, the Knight appears to attack them, escaping with a mocking pose, leaving them to seal that Fountain. And finally, after trying to block their path and attacking them in complete darkness, the Delta Warriors confront the Knight once more. It laughs, then creates new Dark Fountain in the Dark World, summoning a Titan and escaping to the Light World, or possibly hiding.
Tier: At least 7-B, possibly far higher
Name: The Roaring Knight, Knight, "Strange Knight" (By Seam), "Dark Knight" (By a Cuptain)
Origin: Deltarune
Gender: Unknown (Referred to with it/its pronouns)
Age: Unknown
Classification: Likely Monster, Lightner, Knight
Powers and Abilities:
Inorganic Physiology (Type 1; Knight is seemingly made of same material as swords. Sword and Knight body fluctuates erratically after receiving heavy damage. It gets transformed together with it. By chipping way part of sword, we get black shard (described as hard and opaque glass in LW) and shadow crystal (is opaque and described as something similar to glass in LW). During Knight "roaring" we can see that there is no biological organs inside its chest, and we can fully see through its mouth and neck. When being in small orb form, Knight has no problem with navigation and dodging enemy attacks, indicating lack of need of any normal eye organs)
Durability Negation & Damage Reduction Negation (Box splitter attack ignores defense stats, and inflicts damage proportional to target HP. Brings target HP to 1 in two hits but can't kill it. Damage is halved by shadow mantle. Final attack ignores defense stats and elemental resistances(including shadow mantle), and inflicts 40 (for bullets) or 75 (for final slash) damage)
Bodily Weaponry (Conventional; Has antlers)
Flight (True flight; Can levitate, managing to levitate very high from the ground)
Telekinesis, Light Manipulation, Breath Attack & Air Manipulation (From the hole in its hand it projects a tractor beam of purple light in an attempt to capture Toriel and later from the tip of its finger it projects a pushing force. Its roar can create gusts of red wind strong enough to push back and slow down the Delta Warriors on multiple occasions, although it doesn't necessarily have to roar to use this ability as seen here by just posing without moving its mouth. Flavor text for the Knight's battle says: "Suddenly, the north wind blew fiercely.", "Suddenly, the north and east winds blew fiercely." and "Suddenly, a tempest.". The Knight's body begins to emit a strange glow on two occasions)
Body Control, Size Manipulation & Shapeshifting (Can open its ribcage and it can change its "eye" into a "mouth". Able to transform into a small orb as well as another form)
Weapon Creation, Weapon Transmutation & Weapon Mastery (Can summon a weapon shaped like a wiffle bat or baseball bat, then change its shape into a knife. Can summon multiple swords)
Magic, Danmaku & SOUL Manipulation (Can directly target Kris's SOUL with its attacks)
Perception Manipulation & Biological Manipulation (Can make the snow in the background "disappear" before the eyes of the Delta Warriors. It can make Kris feel lightheaded, make them see gold stars, make them get a migraine, make them feel like something is hovering behind their head, make their vision narrow, make them feel like the world is revolving around them, make their head spin, make their chest feel tight, make their chest feel twisted and make their heartbeat become twisted)
Homing Attack (Can make the swords chase the opponent before attacking quickly. Same with the star pieces that target the opponent before being fired)
Breaking the Fourth Wall (Combat-Applicable; Can push the Bullet Board and break it with its knife attacks, leaving the box in poor condition afterwards)
Fire Manipulation (The Knight's knife slashes can cause dark flames to appear inside the box)
Teleportation (As seen here and here)
Regeneration Negation & Limited Invulnerability Negation (Via SWOON. With its normal attacks or with its fast sword attack it can negate the regeneration of its opponents, even if they just faint. Regeneration that ranges from Low to Low-High. Can reduce i-frames with its sword tunnel attack and other attacks)
Spatial Manipulation (Can cut through the moving background and separate it)
Limited Damage Boost (A small piece cut from its black knife becomes a Black Shard, a weapon with the ability to multiply the damage done to enemies with the Dark element. This weapon being only a shard of the Knight's black knife implies that the knife is even more powerful)
Enhanced Senses (Night Vision; Can accurately target and attack the Delta Warriors in complete darkness)
Attack Potency: At least City level (Vastly superior to any other enemy so far, capable of severing Tenna's arms and leaving him in a fatal state with a single attack. Easily overpowered Undyne. It can defeat the Delta Warriors on several occasions with few or even a single attack (even with shadow mantle equipped) in Chapters 3 & 4, leaving Kris and Susie severely injured and turning Ralsei into a pile of fluff[Statistics Values 1]), possibly far higher (Seam says in Chapter 2 that the Knight is an impossible opponent to defeat, and The Voice from the beginning of the game and the credits of Chapter 4 says that it's guaranteed the Delta Warriors will lose. Capable of easily defeating the full HP Delta Warriors with a single slash unlike its other attacks. Even when they have equipped the Shadow Mantle which reduces the damage caused of the Knight by 66%)
Speed: At least FTL, likely far higher (It is much faster than the Delta Warriors, to the point of it easily one-shotting them before they can even react. Faster than Susie, as shown by it easily dodging her attacks. Can constantly accelerate in its "bird" form[Statistics Values 2])
Lifting Strength: At least Class G (Far superior to every enemy ever encounter so far, including Tenna[Statistics Values 3])
Striking Strength: At least City level, possibly far higher[Statistics Values 1]
Durability: At least City level, possibly far higher[Statistics Values 1]
Stamina: Superhuman (Unknown although it has not shown any fatigue when fighting for a while with the Delta Warriors, taking multiple hits from them in Chapter 3)
Range: Tens of Meters (As a Lightner, its attacks can reach great distances without physically touching the opponent); Hundreds of Meters with Magic (Shown here when it attacked the Delta Warriors from a big distance in Chapter 4)
Standard Equipment: Black Knife, Shadow Crystal and Black Shard (Both are cut shards from the Black Knife)
Intelligence: Unknown, at least Above Average (While the Knight's true intelligence has yet to be revealed, it seem to be capable of plotting and manipulation. It's likely the one who calls Kris, planning the next Dark Fountain at the church and Undyne's sacrifice for the next week, also ordering Kris to keep Susie away from the guitar that has the code to the shelter. It ordered Kris to manipulate Tenna into saying that it was the Knight itself who appeared and told him that if he kept the Delta Warriors busy, he could have ALL the people he wanted to watch him)
Combat Skill: The Knight is a very capable combatant who shows skill in swordsmanship, managing to defeat Kris and their party with ease, showing itself superior to them.
Weaknesses: The Knight let down its guard for a moment after performing its "Star Tractor" attack.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
The Knight's attacks

Star Storm
1/11
Star Storm: The Knight sends forth a purple cone from its palm, emitting several six-pointed stars that grow over time. After a short while, it stops, causing the stars to reverse direction for about a second before each explodes into six shards that travel a short distance at a slow speed. Three of six shards travel and last shorter.
Tracking Swords: A sword appears from a cardinal or intercardinal direction centered on the opponent and moves with them. After a short period (initially about 1 second, but shortening as the attack progresses) it turns red, freezes, disappears, and creates a white slash. This repeats 10 times, with the swords progressively increasing in speed.
Box Splitter: The Knight cleaves the Bullet Board in two in an orthogonal direction (deviating by a few degrees), splitting it in half, pushing both halves away, and causing fast and slow tooth-like projectiles to emit from the cut. The projectiles come at two different speeds, and no more than two adjacent projectiles can have the same speed. The Bullet Board then fuses back together before the Knight cleaves it again. This repeats 7-8 times, choosing the same orthogonal direction (with different deviations).
Phase 2: The Knight can switch the direction it cleaves each time it does so.
Phase 3: The Knight can switch the direction it cleaves each time it does so and can choose to cleave in a diagonal direction. If The Knight chooses to cleave diagonally, projectiles emit from the center and radiate outward.
Sword Tunnel: Swords from the top and bottom sides quickly slide forward and can shift up or down in tandem, turning red when the opponent is too close to them. At the end of the attack, the swords scatter around the edge of the screen and project red warning lines showing their trajectory before flying across the Bullet Board.
Rotating Slash: The Knight slashes six times, creating rotating red lines that quickly freeze and create white slashes. Each individual slash typically increases the amount of red lines, starting at one and ending at four.
Phase 2: The Knight starts at three lines and switches to four after two slashes.
Phase 3: The Knight starts at three lines and switches to four after one slash. In addition, it makes several rotating slashes centered in the center of the Bullet Board after its initial six slashes, this time slashing much faster and having most of the front of its body covered in the trail from its sword slashing.
Star Tractor: The Knight glows for a moment before the Bullet Board expands and the Knight begins to exude an aura that attracts stars and the opponent towards it, while maintaining some distance from bullets and enemies. The Knight will then release the stars back towards the foe and cut the box in half.
SWOON: The Knight makes a sword slash so fast and strong that it can defeat the Delta Warriors before they can even react. A slash launched from outside the opponent's current line of sight that can negate their regeneration. If the opponent faints from the Knight's normal attacks, their regeneration will be negated too.
Red Wind: The Knight controls a red wind that pushes the opponent back, slowing them down or pushing them away completely.
Swords Barrier: The Knight can create a barrier of swords around the entire area, preventing the Delta Warriors from dodging it.
Dark Fountains: By stabbing the ground with a sharp object in the Light World, the Knight is able to shroud an area in darkness. This creates a Dark World, transforming inanimate objects into Darkners and greatly warping the landscape.
Titan Summoning: By creating a Dark Fountain while inside of a Dark World, the Knight was able to summon a Titan.
Titan Stats:
The Titan is the final boss of Deltarune Chapter 4. The Titans are an antagonist force prophesized by the Legend of the Delta Rune to wreak destruction in the apocalyptic event, The Roaring. The Titan is summoned when the Knight creates a Dark Fountain in the Last Chamber of the 3rd Sanctuary. As the Fountain is created, it solidifies before the Titan's hand bursts out and attacks the party. Ralsei urges them to climb the newly-formed pillar. As the Delta Warriors climb the tower, the Titan slowly hatches until at the top it finishes hatching, showing its true form and beginning the battle.
Titan Spawn is a being made of darkness in the form of a human embryo. They are first encountered in the Dark Sanctuary, where they act as hazards in rooms with winding paths and as threats hunting the party in dark maze rooms. Later on, they occasionally menace the party and provide obstacles during climbing challenges, until a pair are fought directly in the 3rd Sanctuary, midway up the climb to the head of the Titan.
Tier: 7-B | 7-B
Key: Titan | Titan Spawn
Name: Titan and Titan Spawn
Origin: Deltarune
Gender: Unknown (Both referred to with it/its pronouns)
Age: A few minutes by the time the Delta Warriors defeat it
Classification: Titan, Spawn
Powers and Abilities:
Large Size (Type 3; It's 1342.98548m)
Bodily Weaponry (Conventional; Has claws)
Magic (Able to use magic much like the Darkners)
Enhanced Senses (Can see through the multiple eyes on its arms and other parts of its body)
Energy Projection (Can shoot energy beams from its hands and from the hole in its head)
Self-Sustenance (Types 1 & 2; As a being of darkness born from a Dark Fountain, it should not have the need to eat or breathe)
Inorganic Physiology (Type 2; It's a living Dark Fountain with a outer shell made of darkness)
Fear Manipulation (Fear Inducement - Terrified the Delta Warriors to a point they had to gather COURAGE to gain TP [Tension Points], which was impeded by the constriction of darkness. Ralsei could barely stay calm when it first hatched. Susie admits she was shaking in fear as it appeared. Described as "The fear of dark, which appears in many forms." and Ralsei describes it more specifically when he explains it to Susie: "It's the fear-of-dark.", "It's the bump-in-the-night." and "It's the shadow of the backside of your mind.")
Invisibility (Can turn invisible, using it to stay close to the Delta Warriors only to appear in front of them when Ralsei reveals "It's already... been here the whole time.")
Non-Physical Interaction (Can physically touch and harm Kris's SOUL with its hands. Flavor text during the Titan's battle notes feeling like their heart being gripped)
Regeneration (Mid-High; It was stated by Ralsei that as long as its inside was intact, it would continue regenerating its outer shell, and since its form made of darkness, which is implied to be able to take several other forms, comes directly from the Dark Fountain, it means that as long as the Fountain is intact, it will be able to fully regenerate its body. Showing this when its body deforms due to deep cuts and other attacks, and then returning to its original state. Checking the Titan reveals that unless fatally wounded, it will continue regenerating)
Immortality (Types 1 & 3)
Incorporeality (For the Dark Fountain itself)
Possibly Pocket Reality Manipulation (From the hole in its head one can enter into its body, in which there is some kind of "dimension" of undetermined size and with a smoke of darkness covering it all around)
Smoke Manipulation (Can summon a smoke made of darkness that can cover the entire area)
Life Manipulation (Can summon Titan Spawn, an evolved version of the latter, Red Spawn and Toothy-Desperate Spawn)
Animal Manipulation (Can summon centipedes and small centipedes made of darkness)
Limited Power Nullification (Darkness is capable of constricting the Delta Warriors, reducing their TP Gain)
Resistance to:
Ice Manipulation (Lacks the explicit weakness to ice spells of Berdly, who merely gets tired by being hit with Noelle's IceShock, which can freeze lesser enemies solid)
Immunity to:
SOUL Manipulation (Is a being made of darkness, therefore it has no SOUL of its own)
Social Influencing & Mind Manipulation (The Titan is not something that can understand MERCY, it has no consciousness, it only exists to destroy, making it immune to Kris's attempts to end the fight peacefully)
Biological Manipulation (Its body is made of darkness)
Titan Spawn:
Magic (Able to use magic much like the Darkners)
Self-Sustenance (Types 1 & 2; As a being of darkness, it should not have the need to eat or breathe)
Incorporeality (Similar in composition to the smoke of darkness that the Titan summons)
Fear Manipulation (Fear Inducement - Described as "A shard of fear.", terrified the Delta Warriors to a point they had to gather COURAGE to gain TP [Tension Points], which was impeded by the constriction of darkness. The atmosphere smelled like adrenaline while Kris could hear their own heart and Ralsei seemed terrified before the battle began and inside the battle he tried to stay calm)
Non-Physical Interaction & SOUL Manipulation (Can physically interact with Kris's SOUL and harm it with its attacks)
Passive Energy Manipulation (When exposed to light from a SOUL, its body turns into energy that gives COURAGE to the Delta Warriors to gain TP)
Summoning & Danmaku (Can summon other Titan Spawn and Red Spawn)
Limited Power Nullification (Darkness is capable of constricting the Delta Warriors, reducing their TP Gain)
Resistance to:
Ice Manipulation (Lacks the explicit weakness to ice spells of Berdly, who merely gets tired by being hit with Noelle's IceShock, which can freeze lesser enemies solid)
Immunity to:
SOUL Manipulation (Is a being made of darkness, therefore it has no SOUL of its own)
Social Influencing & Mind Manipulation (The Titan Spawn is not something that can understand MERCY, likely has no consciousness like the Titan, making it immune to Kris's attempts to end the fight peacefully)
Attack Potency: City level[Statistics Value 1] (Can generate at least this much energy by just existing. It's a living Dark Fountain, which can create the Dark Worlds, give them forms, and instantly make them disappear the moment they're sealed, as creating it requires the creation of a Dark Fountain, with Ralsei saying that the Fountain is the Titan itself, and later on saying that a Titan is born when the Dark Fountains become too strong and the flow of darkness becomes wild and that both a Titan and a Fountain could be sealed the same way due to them being supposedly the same thing, with him being then proven right when Kris sealed a Titan in the same way they do so with a Dark Fountain. Dark Worlds are both stated and shown to be the size of an entire city. Has 40 AT, and is far superior to previously fought enemies such as GIGA Queen due to it being such a big threat that Ralsei considers the Titan impossible to defeat, completely terrified before the Knight created the Dark Fountain and hopeless when it was regenerating, with Ralsei himself later saying that he can't believe that he and the Delta Warriors have defeated a Titan. It is capable of harming the LV4 Delta Warriors) | City level[Statistics Value 1] (Has 30 AT, which makes it superior in AT stats to other enemies from Chapter 4. It is capable of harming the LV4 Delta Warriors and uses its own body to attack in the fight alongside the Titan)
Speed: At least FTL[Statistics Value 2] (Superior to the likes of GIGA Queen and Jackenstein, with the latter being able to move at these speeds. Can kept up with the LV4 Delta Warriors in combat) | At least FTL[Statistics Value 2] (Can fight against the LV4 Delta Warriors)
Lifting Strength: At least Class G[Statistics Value 3] (Far superior to the likes of Thrash Machine, which physically stopped GIGA Queen's Final Attack, GIGA Queen who threatened to crush LV2 Susie into "8-bits", or also Tenna who can jump faster than electricity despite being over 28 Tons heavy) | At least Class G[Statistics Value 3] (Superior to the likes of Tenna or Sound of Justice, with the latter being able to move its hammer with this strength)
Striking Strength: City level[Statistics Value 1] | City level[Statistics Value 1]
Durability: City level[Statistics Value 1] (It's a living Dark Fountain, which can create the Dark Worlds and give them form. Has 800 DF, massively superior to GIGA Queen and any other lesser enemy in durability. Blows from the LV4 Delta Warriors make little damage to its shield), far higher with its wings (The wings which surround the Titan are durable enough to negate most damage coming from the Delta Warriors), lower without its shield (With its weak point revealed, the Titan's DF stat plummets to 0, taking massive damage from the Delta Warriors) | City level[Statistics Value 1] (Has 200 DF, massively superior to other lesser enemies in defense and can take multiple hits from the LV4 Delta Warriors, though can be killed in one shot and vaporized by the Titan)
Stamina: Superhuman (Can take multiple hits from the LV4 Delta Warriors and Gerson and keep fighting) | Superhuman (Can take multiple hits from the LV4 Delta Warriors and keep fighting)
Range: Kilometers physically and with Magic (As a living Dark Fountain its powers should extent to the whole of the Dark Worlds. Its magic should be much superior to Lancer's, whose magic reaches the bottom of a cliff from the top) | Hundreds of Meters with Magic (Its magic attacks seem to work similarly to the Darkners' magic attacks, should be comparable to Lancer's, whose magic reaches the bottom of a cliff from the top)
Standard Equipment: None Notable.
Intelligence: Instinctive (Ralsei states that the Titan have no consciousness, and only exist to destroy) | Instinctive (The Titan Spawn is not something that can understand MERCY)
Weaknesses: The light of a human SOUL can annihilate its fingers by exposing this light onto its multiple eyes, all dark beings can be completely disintegrated by exposing themselves to this light and with a very brilliant light its shield can disappear for a short moment. If one enters the hole in its head and uses the SOUL to seal it, it disappears completely, likely a character with similar Light Manipulation and Soul Manipulation can achieve the same result as Kris.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
Hand Blast: The Titan can shoot energy beams from its arms to attack the opponent, being careful not to attack itself.
Crumbling Tower: In its early stages, in addition to summoning Titan Spawn, it begins to circle the tower with small centipedes, white orbs and eyes that weep darkness.
Smoke of Darkness: The Titan summons a smoke made of darkness to surround its body, the smoke deals damage upon contact and can rise to great heights.
Swarm: The Titan will spawn dozens of Titan Spawn to slowly chase the opponent. Red Spawn can also spawn, which are immune to the light from the SOUL.
Swarm, Harder: The amount of Titan Spawn and Red Spawn is increased, reducing the space available to move through. Additionally, some of the Titan Spawn will be Evolving Spawn, which are slightly larger and have a vertically elongated shape.
Swarm, Hardest: The amount of Titan Spawn and Evolving Spawn is increased, but Red Spawn stop appearing. Some of the Spawn will be Desperate Spawn, which have a horizontally elongated shape, but are similarly sized to Titan Spawns.
Centipedes: Two or three Centipedes made of darkness will appear, circling and occasionally charging the opponent. Additionally, smaller single-segment centipedes will continuously spawn, going directly towards the opponent.
The Hands: Two huge four-fingered hands appear on each side of the opponent, floating up and down before closing to attack.
Big Shots: When the shield on its head disappears the Titan can charge darkness within the gaping hole in its face, shooting out large balls of energy at the opponent while the Titan Spawn attack at the same time. Firing one, two or three at a time.
Desperation Shots: The Titan rapidly fires bursts of big shots, alternating between 2 or 3 at 30° degrees of each other, angled to be centered on the opponent's location. After 12 bursts, the Titan will suck all big shots left back towards itself, absorbing them and then firing a gigantic laser.
Spawn Absorption: The Titan can cover itself with its wings, massively reducing the damage dealt to its outer shell, and begins to absorb many Titan Spawn to fully regenerate. Can use this ability without having to cover itself with its wings first.
Titan Spawn:
Swarm: The Titan Spawn will spawn dozens of other Titan Spawn to slowly chase the opponent. Red Spawn can also spawn, which are immune to the light from the SOUL.
