Origin
Sonic the Hedgehog is a genetically enhanced anthropomorphic hedgehog created through unknown means, emerging as a natural protector of Earth. He possesses an innate connection to the environment and channeled his superhuman abilities toward fighting tyranny. In most canon versions, Sonic comes into conflict with the mad scientist Dr. Robotnik (also known as Dr. Eggman), whose relentless pursuit of world domination and control of Chaos Emeralds drives much of Sonic's story.
