Origin
Yuji Itadori was an ordinary high school student living with his grandfather until a cursed finger fell into his hands during a jujutsu sorcerer's investigation. To prevent a more powerful curse from consuming the finger, Yuji swallowed it and became the vessel for Sukuna, the legendary King of Curses. Recognizing Yuji's potential and humanity, Satoru Gojo recruited him into Tokyo Jujutsu High School to train as a jujutsu sorcerer and eventually consume all of Sukuna's fingers to seal the curse forever.
